Base Camp Outdoor Holiday Club?
Enjoy adventure, fun and endless excitement during the school holidays!
We offer fun, engaging and adventurous Holiday Clubs for your children and teenagers (aged 5-15). We run Holiday Clubs during all school holidays other than the Christmas break.

What happens at a Base Camp Holiday Club?
Where to start! Our ethos for our provision is that we remain child-led as much as possible so a large part of our sessions are just allowing children the space and freedom to play in the great outdoors however they want; to be swinging on our swings, climbing trees, bouncing on cargo nets, making mud pies in the mud kitchens, building dens and relaxing in hammocks. But we also always have an activity or two up our sleeves as well – whether that’s a spot of woodwork and whittling, campfire cooking, fire lighting or team games, there’s always something to do! No two sessions are the same, the only constant is the smiling faces and muddy knees traipsing back to the car park at the end of the day.
Jam packed with fire-lighting, den building, bug hunting, game playing fun…no two Holiday Club sessions are the same! Have your kids got a lot of excess energy now that school’s out? Do you need childcare whilst you work? Then choose to send them into the great outdoors for a fantastic day in the woods with us!
Bring a packed lunch, water bottle, wellies and waterproofs!
Our Holiday Clubs aim to provide children with an environment in which they are free to be themselves, meet new friends and socialise whilst engaging in fun outdoor school activities. We aim to be as inclusive as possible, and strive to provide all children with the right to engage in a session that promotes success and happiness through exploration and play.
It is, however, separate provision from our term time activities, including the 1:1 programmes and therefore, requires that children are able to attend without their parent/guardian and have a level of independence that does not require close supervision or assistance outside of what we would typically expect.
If your child is registered with us on a 1:1 programme, please contact us prior to booking to discuss the suitability of these groups. In some cases where qualified staff are available, we may be able to provide 1:1 support during Holiday Clubs. If you think this is a likely requirement, please email info@basecampoutdoors.co.uk with your enquiry.
